"So what? You think just because my brother was killed by a demon that changes anything. Well it doesn't they still took my kingdom and my mother, that I'm sure of. And what's your proof huh? How do i know your just not trying to get closer so you can easily finish me off?

Poke didn't hesitate. She took a deep breath and revealed her right eye, the eye of the demon who had saved her. It was still the same as the night she'd received it. "Here's your proof, the eye of the reality demon that killed him!"

As she looked at him, with only that white eye, something amazing and unexpected happened.

Angel's eyes went blank as he peered into the shimmering eye. Before he snapped back he felt himself changing. And right before Poke's eyes Angel changed into a fox.

He was a reddish orange toned fox with icy eyes. His tailed flared off as if it was on fire. His eyes were still dazed but when he snapped to he began to look around defensively.

"Holy shit..." she whispered in an awed voice.

Her knees gave away and she sunk to them, almost eye level with the fox before her. The eye had done that. She had thought it had just given her sight, something of a good luck charm maybe. She had no idea it still held powers. Had it been this way the whole time? Why did it still retain it's abilities after being separated from the demon it belonged to? There had never been a case of a human being able to use a demon's power without giving it something, like a soul or their first born or something along those gruesome lines. And even then, it rarely worked like it was promised.

Something was very wrong here.

Poke's mind began to spin, her eyes were wide and crazed slightly. So much today. She felt like she was going to lose it. Her body began to tremble as something hot and raging raced through her. she couldn't hold all of this. It was too much!

"AHHHHHH!" Poke screeched at the heavens above. Waves of power tore through her, rising up and up. The ground shook and split, windows shattered. Angel winced back, still a fox. Everything bled together and then shimmered to red and silence.

Nami was getting worried, she had a bad feeling about Poke. There was something wrong, she knew it. decision made, she turned away from the door to her class and made her way towards the entrance.

It was in view when it happened. A small ripple of a strange power ran through the air. Then, the ground shook, windows cracked, some broke entirely. Nami ran, wobbling here and there, to the open doors and outside. Kids were right behind her, some climbing out of windows. They cried earthquake, but Nami knew better. This was the work of a demon.

Kit and Rai stared wide-eyed at the pair, Poke and the demon fox. She showed him something, done something, and it'd reverted back to basic form. She then fell to her knees and soon after released a scream that literally shook the earth and shattered glass. The rush of power all but knocked Rai off his feet as he gripped Kit, who did his best to shield his lover.

"Kit," he called over the echo of the scream.

"I know, we better get back to HQ," he stared at the girl. "We've got a problem."

The shock wave tore threw the surroundings disrupting the environment. A small tremor moved over Angel causing a small cut. "Keep your mouth shut you stupid bitch, and get me inside before someone sees me, I'm extremely vulnerable in my fox form. Hide me quickly or I'll rip off your nose!"

Astella looked out the classroom window not shaken at all by the earthquake, for she knew better. "Ah my dear, I've finally found you, ahahahahahahaha!" She laughed maniacally as she peered at the distant town.

Sicilia began to laugh as she stared into a book. "Ah, there's a little more fun to have now, isn't there?" She snapped the book closed and began to head for the exit to investigate.

Raphael looked into Adrian's eyes, He grabbed Adrian by the shoulders and locked lips with him.

Adrian felt a swelling....of pride. Rafael asked "Do you still want to use the bathroom?"
"Yes! Now!"

Raphael grabbed Adrian's hand and led him into the bathroom. When he opened the door he was stopped in his tracks.

It was Trai on his way out of the bathroom. Adrian and Trai made eye contact and ice sparks flew between them. It was clear that they both thought the other had betrayed him. Adrian grabbed onto Rafael's arm and brushed by Trai. The boy turned to watch them enter the room then slammed the door on the way out.

"Ee!! Quick," she unzipped her hoodie. "Get in here! I'll take you to my house!"

Nami took off in the direction of their apartment. She needed to make sure Poke was safe.

Raphael felt the chill from each of them. He could tell Adrian was breaking inside, as long as he stayed strong he would b fine. He wasn't sure how to feel, was Adrian grabbing tighter. Did he actually care for him or was he just using him to make Trai jealous.

"You must be kidding me, I'm not getting in your hoody with your sweaty bosom" Angel stepped back and gritted her teeth.

Poke glowered at him. "Get in or I'll leave you here." She saw his eye twitch, though wasn't sure why it did.

Kit and Rai entered Kit's office. Kit walked at a brisk pace. He grabbed up the phone and called for Poke and Nami's records. The look in his eyes was dangerous.

"Kit, maybe we didn't get the whole story. We should go talk to them and hear their side of the story."

He shook his head, and looked upset for the first time. "No," he said in a low voice. "It's clear what must be done, and as a Face, I have no choice but to adhere."

Angel knew he was in no place to argue. "You better not try to suffocate me with your heaving cleavage. I will bite off a nipple if I have to." Angel reluctantly jumped into poke's hoody and huddled to look like nothing more than fat.

"Hmph," she zipped it back up and took a look at herself. "Geez, Angel-san! I look pregnant!"

He only gave her a wiggle in reply. Sighing, still confused and tired, she set off towards home, hiding a two-tailed fox demon underneath her hoodie. Oh. she hoped they fixed this before Nami got home...

Angel hopped out of her jacket and sniffed around the apartment. Poke followed him, making sure he didn't go any where he wasn't supposed to.

She sighed and flopped on the couch. She'd gotten two hours of sleep tops and it was on her mind. Of course Angel wouldn't want to sleep, he was probably just pissed at her for doing what she unwittingly did.

"What a day!" she groaned to no one in particular. She spotted Angel slink around the corner and figured he couldn't do any damage like that. And if he did, all she had to do was look at him again.

Poke gazed up at the ceiling and stuck her tongue out at it. "Stupid people, stupid past, stupid men! Stupid, stupid stupid! Gods, could anything else go wrong today? Lost a friend, lost my mind, lost my stability. Now things are getting weird. Ohhh! What am I going to do?"

Angel looked Poke right in the eye upside down. "You shouldn't be laying around resting, You should be trying to find a way to fix me. I can feel a tension in my form, it's keeping my from transforming. I've felt it lift a bit, i may be able to change later but I don't have that kind of time."

Angel jumped over Poke and landed in her lap. "Do it now!"

Poke glared at him. "Do what exactly?" She leaned forward and could feel his breath on her nose. "I didn't even know I could do that! How do you want me to do that? I could look at you again, but that might just reset the whole timer."

She huffed and waited for the smart-ass, inconsiderate, heartless reply that was sure to come.

Nami stopped at the entrance to the apartment building, slightly out of breath from running the entire way, and looked up at the window to their place. She had a feeling Someone that wasn't Poke was up there. "Hang on, I'm coming Poke."
